During 2008 ICRT expanded to Belize, Canada and Germany. The ICRTs work independent of each other in their respcetive countries. ICRT started up in UK which is today a part of Leeds Metropolitan University where the focus is on education and research in responsible tourism. MSc Responsible Tourism Management is one of the progams ICRT UK is offering. ICRT can also be found in India, South Africa and West-Africa. |

Carpenter Tore and his wife Vigdis live in Mitandi in Rwenzori Mountains, Uganda. They offer accommodation located outside the normal tourist track in the Mountains of Rwenzori. 5% of what the visitor is paying goes directly to community projects in the local community. You can also come to Mitandi as a volunteer and contribute together with the local people. You will experience the mountains and wildlife. In the evening local produced dinner is served at the bonfire. The Norwegian hosts are very engaged in local development and that the guests as well show environment and social responsibility. |

The Africa Adventure Cape to Cape Foundation is a non-profit organisation working throughout Africa to promote sustainable tourism development through partnerships with schools, communities, NGOs and corporations. In March they will start the expedition that will go through 28 countries from South Africa, including Norway and North Pole as a goal. Road shows will be held along the route.. |
